Karla Sue Mueller

Karla Sue Mueller, 65, of Belmont, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Valley Hospice Liza’s Place, in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was born on July 24, 1959 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late Hubert Max and Nellie Bernice (Wright) Phillips.

Karla was a 1977 graduate of Barnesville High School. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Barnesville. Karla was a member of the American Legion Auxillary. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and volunteering for dog rescues.

In addition to her parents, Karla was preceded in death by her infant brother, Donald Ray Phillips.

Karla is survived by her husband, Mark Mueller; daughter, Jonell (Zach) Tolzda; grandson, Nash Tolzda; sisters, Jana (Mike) Crawford and Karen (Pete) Long; brothers, Denny (Cyndi) Phillips and Darrell (Denise) Phillips; half sister, DeDee Headly; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 1-4pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 10:00am with Ed Eberhart officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Karla’s honor to a dog rescue of your choice.
