The Enterprise Album – Somerton G.A.R./Grange Hall

From the time of its construction in 1885 through 1979, the G.A.R./Grange Hall served the Somerton community as a polling location. In 1980, the polls were moved to the former Somerton Fire Hall that provided handicapped access and restrooms. The hall also served as a community center hosting banquets, community institutes, wedding showers, cake walks and other activities up through 1986 when the Grange organization merged with Belmont Grange in Barnesville.
