Enterprise Album – Lighted Christmas Parade

The 2024 Lighted Christmas Parade is just around the corner. Outgoing Mayor Allen J. Phillips was honored by municipal employees on a float recognizing his 13 years as the community’s chief executive in this 1987 parade photo. Earlier that week, Phillips and Mayor-elect Tom Michelli ceremoniously flipped the switch on for one of the huge snowflakes, to launch a longtime downtown decorating project. That project was primarily made possible by the volunteer efforts of  William “Bill” Ball, local electrician and longtime member of the Board of Public Affairs.
