Area Schools Mark Thanksgiving

Thursday, the Union Local Middle School Student Council hosted a beautiful Thanksgiving Dinner for local seniors.  

“It was a time filled with joy, delicious food, and meaningful connections. Our students worked hard to make this event special, and their kindness and generosity shone through in every detail. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day unforgettable for our community.”

Barnesville Elementary School Students enjoyed their Thanksgiving meal on Friday thanks to the efforts of the school cafeteria staff. They gathered with principal Zach Powell, far right, just before the meal.

Jessica Ackerman, director of food and nutrition, told school board members Thursday night the Thanksgiving meal will be observed at the middle and high schools this coming Monday.
