(Santa Teresa, NM) – Ross Parks, auctioneer at the Barnesville Livestock Auction and resident of New Concord, earned runner-up honors at the World Livestock Auctioneering Championship Qualifier this past week.
The event, held Nov. 15 at the international livestock market in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, brought together auctioneers from 20 states and three countries, including Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The competition featured a unique blend of Mexican ranchers, American buyers, and top-tier auctioneers.
This year’s champion was Brennin Jack from Canada, with Tyler Bell of Texas named Reserve Champion. Parks claimed third place, marking a significant achievement on the international stage.
