There is still a lot of need for volunteering within our community as she is growing into her next chapter of life. Today we are announcing with great pleasure KindnessU is going to continue with one our own past members moving into the President position.

Peyton a junior at Barnesville High School is a past winner of the Blood Science Foundation Scholarship for his dedication to KindnessU and his volunteering and fundraising efforts. He along with his mother Fran Steed will be running the organization to continue the past success of giving our youth a platform to volunteer and fundraise for those in need.

…..Anyone who has an account on any social media platform knows that often news, or partial news, is quickly spread online. The latest bit of information centers on the potential closing of a local fast food restaurant and its replacement by a regional ethnic food chain.
Initial posts indicated the chain would open in a location that is currently vacant.
So far, no formal announcements. Stay tuned.
