VFDs Handle I-70 Truck Fire

Early Tuesday morning, Belmont, Bethesda, Morristown and Cumberland Trail fire departments responded to a 3:30 am fire on I-70 EB about two miles east of the Morristown Interchange. The fire started in a rear tire of a semi-trailer. When the departments arrived, the fire was starting to extend into the trailer/cargo area. The fire was quickly extinguished with the disabled trailer removed by a tow truck.
