Beallsville students helped unload wreaths for Wreaths Across America this week. 

Wreathes Across America dates to 1992 and was initially a “family thing” placing wreathes on veterans’ graves at Arlington National Cemetery. The effort went nationwide in 2007 forming a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

In 2024 over 3 million wreathes will be delivered by American trucking companies and placed on graves by volunteers throughout the nation.

Beallsville School Christmas Dress Up Week – December 16-20

Monday – Heat-to-Toe-Day, wear festival hats and socks

Tuesday – Grinch vs. Santa, Dress as Either

Wednesday – Christmas in Paradise, “mix tropical and Christmas ‘vibes’”

Thursday – Snow Day “bundle up in cozy winter gear” 

Friday – Fleece Navidad, “wear festive pjs”

Beallsville School Food Drive – December 3-19

Students at Beallsville School are asked to bring canned goods to  home class from December 3-19 for a food drive. The winning class will win a pizza party.

Union Local Middle School Spirit Week – December 16-20

It is spirit week at ULMS. Students are encouraged to dress festively all week,

Monday: 6th grade, wear red; 7th grade, wear white; 8th grade, wear green

Tuesday: Santa’s Workshop Impostors. Dress like you work for Santa…don Santa hats, elf ears, reindeer antlers, etc.

Wednesday: What not to wear – ugley seweater day

Thuresday: Twinkle Toes Thursday. Wear crazy socks

Friday: Twas the Night before Christmas. Wear Christmas Pajamas.
