Belmont SWCD Tree Collection

(Belmont SWCD Photo)
Each year, the Wildlife Specialist of the Belmont Soil and Water Conservation District hosts a Holiday Habitat program where they accept your live Christmas trees after the holidays and use them to create habitat for wildlife. Wildlife use brush piles for nesting, resting, evading predators, keeping cool during summer, and staying warm and dry when it’s cold and stormy.
You can drop your tree off between December 26 and January 26 at the agency’s office 45422 Roscoe Road (Belmont County Fairgrounds) near East Richland. Only live trees, minus all decorations will be collected.
