Belmont Sheriff Zusack Takes Oath, Makes Promotions

Former Belmont County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy James G. Zusack who was elected in November was administered the oath of office on January 3 by Belmont County Common Pleas Judge John Vavra.

Shortly after assuming office, Zusack promoted Lt. Glenn W. Moore to be his Chief Deputy, the position Zusack previously held.

Other promotions announced by the new Sheriff this week include Thomas DeVaul to Lieutenant and Corporal Ervin “Tiny” Fulst to Sergeant.
