During the OVAC Tournament at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling BHS Junior Hines Ford who competes in the 175-pound class, claimed his 100th high school career win!

Between the JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games Friday night at the BHS Gym, the school district honored Coach DJ Butler on his selection as a member of the 2025 East District baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Butler has guided the Shamrocks since 2007. Prior to that he was head coach of the former Jewett-Scio High School for four seasons in the late 1990s. His overall career record is 310-187.
Sports Fundraisers
Barnesville Junior High boys’ and girls’ basketball team members are currently selling raffle tickets for the Alan Craker memorial scholarship fund.
The winning ticket holder will wiln four tickets for the Portland Trail Blazers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game, Sunday, March 2, that has a cash value of $900. The winning ticket will be drawn on January 28. Tickets are $20 each. Members of both teams are selling the tickets. Make checks payable to the Barnesville Community Foundation.
BHS Cheerleaders Nationals Trip

Barnesville Boosters Club Bingo. Regular weekly bingo games take place at the Barnesville Elks Lodge each Wednesday evening. Doors open at 4:00, games begin at 6:00.
