Swim Team Shines at OVAC Contest

The Barnesville Boys Swim Team claimed Second Place in the 1A-3A OVAC Division Swim Championship Meet Friday at Brooke High School while the Girls Team came in 4th Place in the competition.

At the 2025 OVAC Swim Meet, Liv McCrate broke the BHS records again in t he 200IM and 100 Breatstroke.
The Freshman swimmer was also honored being named the OVAC Small School (1A-3A) Girl Swimmer of the Year by OVAC coaches.

The 200 Boys Medley team of Maddox Whaley, Levi Geiger, Antoni Schuerle and Conner Starr broke their own record at the OVAC Swim Meet Championships Friday night.
Their old record was 155:64, new record 1:54.23 .
