Kayleigh Jade Dalrymple
Kayleigh Jade Dalrymple, age 14, of Chillicothe, IL, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at OSF St.Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Kayleigh was born on April 16, 2010 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Michael D. Dalrymple and Jessica D. Shrewsbury.
Surviving is her father, Michael D. Dalrymple of Summerfield, OH; her mother, Jessica (Matthew Pilkington) Shrewsbury of Chillicothe, IL; her siblings, Dillon Dalrymple of Chillicothe, IL, Makenzie Dalrymple of Woodsfield, OH, Nathaniel Huntsman of Ozark, OH, Noah Huntsman of Ozark, OH, Kynnlee Dalrymple of Woodsfield, OH, Khloe Dalrymple of Woodsfield, OH, Maycee Dalrymple of Canton, OH and Shaelyn Dalrymple of Summerfield, OH; her grandparents, Rose (Ray Pilkington) Seyferth, Robert (Misty) Shrewsbury, Sandra Rose Dalrymple and Sheila Brooks; her aunts and uncles, Josh (Danielle) Shrewsbury, Chris Shrewsbury, Justice Shrewsbury, Alexis (Dakota) Sampson, Courtney (Chris) Smathers, Kristina (Casey) Lucas and Lesley (Josh) Smith; and many cousins. Also surviving is her great-aunt, who helped raise her, Lisa Nalley. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harry Dalrymple and her great-uncle, Victor Mercer.
Kayleigh was a freshman at Illinois Valley Central High School in Chillicothe Illinois. She enjoyed life and being with her friends. Her siblings were her world and every moment she spent with them was cherished. She was loving, caring, free-spirited and loved being outdoors. Kayleigh was true to herself and was not afraid to speak her mind.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Additional services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home – Harper Chapel in Beallsville, OH with cremation following the services.
