Library Display Features Woodworking Projects

During the month of February, the display cases at Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library feature woodworking projects made by Blossom’s owner Jita Clift’s father Dal Wildman.

Wildman, 93, has been working with wood since his high school days at Belmont High School. The wooden table lamp was a high school wood shop project.  Also note the train related products a nod to Wildman’s years working at the Barnesville B & O Depot. He was the last telegrapher at the local station.

After retiring, Dal, who is described by his daughter as “the heart and soul of Blossoms” delivered flowers for the flower shop for years until a fall a couple of years ago sidelined the still active nonagenarian.

Check out the display near the front entrance through February 28.
