Cheffy’s was formed in 1925 when George and William Cheffy purchased the Hutton-Hilles Drug Store from the Hilles family. George E. Hilles was the long-term owner of the business in the late 1800s and first quarter of the 20th century renaming the firm Cheffy Drugs.
Since that time, the business has operated continuously with second Cheffy generation owner Tom Cheffy, Jim Circosta and now Pat Kovacs.
