Sandy Ridge Fire Update

Barnesville Fire Chief Tim Hall reports the state fire marshal’s inspection at the Sandy Ridge residence, site of a fire, Friday, January 31, reveals the cause “undetermined” at the present time. 

Owner Tessa Danford also reached out to neighbors this past week hoping five still missing domestic cats may still be found. One cat and a parrot died in the fire.

The Go Fund Me account established by a coworker of Danford’s revealed $9,008 raised from 127 donations of the $15,000 goal.
