Livestock Forage Disaster Funding Available

Sign-up is now available for $10 million state funding for drought relief from the record breaking drought the region experienced last year.  The funding is available for livestock producers enrolled in the USDA FSA Livestock Forage Disaster Program and in a primary disaster area. There are 29 counties in the Appalachian region of the state in the designed disaster area including all area counties.

Applicants should contact the local Soil and Water Conservation District for more information.
