Property Owners Tax Meeting Draws Crowd

Shaheen Law Group reports over 250 attended the property owners meeting at St. Clairsville on February 12. The response was so overwhelming, some were placed on a wait list.

Meanwhile the attorney representing the mayor of Holloway who reportedly threatened to blow up the courthouse, entered a not guilty plea on his behalf for charges of inducing panic and aggravated menacing
Joseph Schaeffer, 49, was apparently upset with the auditor’s office claiming the county owes his mother overcharges from years ago.
Schaeffer, who is out on bond, is expected back in court on March 11.
