February Elementary “Character of Caring” Students
The following Barnesville Elementary School students were selected as February “Character of Caring” students.

- First Grade: Jailey wise, Monreaux Smith, Kenzlee Woods, Parker Reed

- Third Grade: Piper Howiler, Aiden Tolewitz, Annabelle Paprocki, Ansley Baker

2025 Belmont County Farm Bureau Scholarships

The Belmont County Farm Bureau will award two $500 scholarships to qualified high school seniors from Belmont County who will further the education following graduation. Applications must be completed online and meet the set criteria.
Applications are available on the county website belmont.ofbf.org or by emailing belmont@ofbf.org. Deadline for completion is March 31st. For additional information contact the office at (740) 425-3681.
Oil and Gas Industry Scholarships Available
A scholarship opportunity for Belmont County Residents for students interested in pursuing a degree in a field utilized by the oil and gas industry is made possible by the EQT Foundation. A total of 15 scholarships of $10,000 will be awarded to students from 15 select counties in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Belmont and Monroe counties in Ohio.
The deadline for applying is March 31. Apply online.
