This was the view of Pike Street in Quaker City between Fair Street and Broadway shortly after the turn of the 20th century.  The three-story frame building served as the Eberle Furniture Store and for the Eberle Funeral Home during the days of home funerals. In the distance is an auto garage, a site that would later be home for Gibson Chevrolet. The furniture store was closed in the early 1970s and the building torn down.
