2025-2026 Barnesville Schools Cheering Squads Selected

Tryouts are over and cheering squads for the 2025-26 school year are set. The following young ladies will lead ‘Rocks fans with cheers beginning in August.

Varsity “Sideline” Cheerleaders

Haley Bowman, Aniston Campbell, Addison Carpenter, Baylee Carpenter, Bailey Clift, Kaylee Darby, Gracie Eddy, AJ Empeno, Briana Foster, Adalynn Hanes, Kali Jones, Brooklyn Lucas, Lilah Lucas, Sophia Neal, Ella Nugent, Izzy Reed, Bre’Lan Schnegg, Ashlyn Spangenburg, Avery Sustik, Serenity Thompson and Kristalyn Watson  

Junior Varsity “Sideline” Cheerleaders

Sophia Neal, Bre’Lan Scnegg and Serenity Thompson 

8th Grade “Sideline” Cheerleaders

Shelby Atkinson, Sutton Corder, Brooklyn Detling, Aleia Fritter, Roree Harris, Lillie Loring and Bailee Marchetti 

7th Grade “Sideline” Cheerleaders

Oliva Anderson, Gianna Boothe, Teagan Bubner, Bradli Messenger, Cydney Monroe, Dallie Sparks and Aubrie Wells

King Wins at OVAC/MAC All Stars Competition

Ayden King (165 lbs.) helped the OVAC All Stars stage a come from behind rally to beat the MAC team at McKees Rocks at Montour High School Wednesday. King scored a pin to help the team win the contest 31-25 over the western Pennsylvania grapplers in the “Clash of Champions”. 

Also representing Barnesville was Eli Messenger (150 lbs.)       

 Lily Leach, Ohio winner for the Elks Hoop Shoot competed for Regional Honors at Indianapolis where she came in second to a Michigan student. Leach made 22 of 25 shots in her last year of competition sponsored by the Barnesville Elks Lodge, BPOE #1699.
