Belmont County Sheriff’s Log

The Barnesville Area News seeks a volunteer to collect call log information from the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office. The ideal candidate needs to visit the sheriff’s office/jail once a week to photograph (copy) log information from western Bemont County. March 8, 2025

9:05 am – White Road Wayne Township caller reports property damage to two vehicles.

9:30 am – Fairview Road Barnesville caller reports man at residence refuses to leave.

5:18 pm – Unruly male reported at National Road, Bethesda, youth facility.

6:55 pm – Caller on “face time” with daughter reports daughter’s husband is firing a gun at Smith Township residence.

March 9, 2025

12:17 am – Deputy flagged down by motorist at Pilot gas pumps on SR 149. While pumping gas a pet dog locked the door. The complaint was advised to contact U-Haul, owner of the vehicle.

1:40 am – South 26 Road Bethesda caller reports daughter was locked in a room at UL school as other girls used her phone. Caller will report it to school officials on Monday.

March 10, 2025

12:27 am – Pine Lake Trailer Court caller advises someone is walking around the trailer. Deputy dispatched but found no one.

9:01 am – Morristown – Flushing Road caller in an altercation with grandmother as caller attempted collect belongings was advised to obtain a court order.

10: 22 am – Female reported unresponsive at Holloway residence without power.

11:16 am. Items reported stolen from a CR 72, Flushing address.

6:32 pm – West Street Holloway caller reports kids are on four wheelers on private property.

8:30 pm – Caller in Flushing reports he was struck by two men in Holloway on Sunday. Caller does not wish to file charges.

March 11, 2025

12:47 pm – Complainant at station spoke with deputy about daughter getting assaulted at Union Local School.

March 12, 2025

12:45 am – Church Street, Lafferty, caller reports neighbor is harassing him and bringing his dogs onto the property.  

8:48 am – Electrical items stolen form Pleasant Ridge Road, Armstrong Mills address.
