While he was in office, longtime Belmont County Sheriff Tom McCort’s office wall was adorned with a wall mounted buffalo head that was named “Buffy”.

It was during McCort’s time at the helm that the current Sheriff James G. Zusack was hired.

Sheriff McCort’s wife, Pamela, loaned Buffy to Zusack who picked it up this week.

Buffy is back at the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office where he will be placed on a wall in honor of McCort.

Two new Correction Officers were sworn in this past week by Belmont Count Sheriff Zusack . Joining the force are Karsyn M. McVey and William J. Nieman, Jr.

Longtime employee of the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office, Kitty Jo Paboucek was recently surprised with a birthday lunch, gifts, cards and fellowship on her special day.
