Murder Suspect Returned to County

Belmont County Sheriff James G. Zusack reports that murder suspect Andrew Isaac Griffin arrived at the Belmont County Jail late Friday morning.

Griffin is facing charges he murdered his former business partners Tom and Angela Strussion, owners of the Salsa Joe’s Cafe, who were found shot to death in their home near East Richland in 2021.

Officials were called to the residence after a fire was set to cover up the murders.

Griffin, who later lived in Oklahoma, was arrested in Hawaii.

A Belmont County Grand Jury recently returned true bills for the murders.
