William “Bill” McPherson

William Paul McPherson, Jr., 74 of Somerton, Ohio passed away peacefully with the love of his life by his side on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.  He was born July 17, 1950 in Barberton, Ohio a son of the late William, Sr. and Mary Treadwell McPherson.

Bill was a man of many talents and interests.  He was an artist who painted cars and also was known for his detailed illustrations.  He loved camping, farming, and fishing.  He was a collector and admirer of tigers.  He enjoyed being outdoors and many will remember that he once had a pet raccoon.  He will be missed by everyone who was fortunate to have known him.   

Left to cherish many happy memories are Bill’s long-term companion of over 40 years, the love of his life, Joyce Barker along with the entire Barker family; also his beloved four-legged friend, Chloe.

All services are private and entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, Harper Chapel, 52728 Ohio Avenue, Beallsville, Ohio 43716.
