Murder Suspect Remains Jailed

Andrew Isaac Griffin appeared before Belmont County Judge Chris Berhalter at a bond hearing in St. Clairsville Friday. 

The suspect who was returned to Belmont County from Hawaii recently was arrested for the alleged double murder of Tom and Angela Strussion in September of 2021. 

Judge Berhalter decided that he will be held without bond based and remain incarcerated in the Belmont County Jail. The judge set the pretrial date for April 23 for Griffin’s next court appearance.
