Ronald Stephen Wilson, Sr.

Ronald Stephen Wilson, Sr., 72, of St. Clairsville, OH passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at his home.  He was born May 15, 1952, in Wheeling, WV., a son of the late Wilbur and Marjorie Cook Wilson.

Ron was a retired installer for National Equipment Company and a Christian by faith.  He enjoyed fishing and mowing grass.  He was an expert at telling jokes and made the best potato soup.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn “Candy” Wilson; two brothers, Frank and Gary Wilson; an infant sister, Hazel Wilson.

Surviving are his children, Rhonda (Preston) Eberhart of Flushing, OH and Ronald S. (Angie) Wilson, Jr. of Delaware, OH; siblings, Sherry Edge of Valley Grove, WV., Melody (Glen) Baller of Ypsilanti, MI., Debbie (Jimmy Zimmerman) Brown of Wheeling, Junior (Norma) Wilson of Wheeling; sisters-in-law, Debi Wilson of Martins Ferry, OH and Patty Wilson of Valley Grove; three grandchildren, Isaiah Eberhart, Stephen and Sophia Wilson; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 2 pm until time of funeral services at 4 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Pastor James Agnew officiating.  Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
