UL Students Present to WVU Med Team

High School students in Mr. Hannahs’ class recently presented to the WVU Medicine team the results of their research on health disparities in our community and the impact they have on our population.

The students conducted thorough research, diving into studies and gaining valuable insights from local WVU Medicine employees. Both groups presented thoughtful solutions aimed at addressing and bridging these health disparities.

The exercise was made possible through the WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital’s STARTEdUp Program partnership with the Union Local District.
