New Travel Center Open

The new Love’s Travel Stops & Country Store opened on SR 149, Belmont-Morristown Road, Friday morning. Business at the plaza was brisk all day long.
The development announced last year, on the site of the former Crooked Creek Golf Course, brings 120 retail jobs to the county.
In addition to Love’s that also includes Love’s Fresh Kitchen, Godfather’s Pizza and Hardee’s restaurant are also located in the complex.
The St. Clairsville Chamber of Commerce will host a Grand Opening ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday morning, April 10 at 11:00. Love’s representatives along with local government officials are expected to attend.
As part of the firm’s official launch, Love’s will donate $2,500 to the Union Local School District and $2,500 to the Belmont Volunteer Fire Department.
