Helen L. Sirca

Helen Louise Sirca, 81, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Saturday, April 5, 2025, at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born November 19, 1943, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Henna Kuusisto Puruczky and Frank Puruczky.

Helen worked for the Federal Aviation Agency out of high school. She was a co-owner and operator of Print N’ Copy in Saint Clairsville, Ohio for many years. Helen was also a volunteer and board member of Tri-County Help Center.

Helen was very strong in her faith, which was evident in her involvement in the Sonfish Christian Fellowship (Woodsfield, Ohio) along with Flushing Alliance Church (Flushing, Ohio) and Refuge Reformed Baptist Church (Barnesville, Ohio). In her spare time, Helen enjoyed feeding and watching birds, reading, vacations to Myrtle Beach and the Outer Banks, and especially spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Robert “Rob” Sirca.

Surviving are her loving husband of 61 years, Gene F. Sirca; two sons, Gene (Sally) Sirca Jr. and Mark (Charlene) Sirca; her grandchildren, Amanda Sirca (Paul) Morrison, Bradley (Merissa) Sirca, Chloe (Yancey) Hall, Jedrek (Ava) Sirca, Isaac Sirca, and Sasipatsorn Sirca; her great-grandchildren James, Kate, Roman, Naomi, and Liam; and her brother, Frank Puruczky.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Refuge Reformed Baptist Church, 240 Franklin St., Barnesville, OH 43713.

There will be a celebration of Helen’s life with a luncheon to follow at Hope Ridge Farm 33460 Neff Ridge Road, Wingett Run, Ohio on April 26, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville.
