Dr. Amber Bauer and Janice Thatcher, dental assistant, distributed dental packets to the students at the Belmont Career Center to emphasize the importance of good dental care to prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and improve overall health. Dental and Medical Services at the Belmont Career Center will be open during the summer for Career Center students, household members and staff. Barnesville McDonald’s employee Rylee Peddicord is the local restaurant’s Employee of the Month for April.

Barnesville’s AMfg Labs Chief Operating Officer, Luke Phalen, participated at the RAPID +TCT Conference in Detroit, Michigan this past week.

The conference “known worldwide as North America’s largest additive manufacturing and industrial 3D printing event, RAPID + TCT provides everything you need to know about the latest 3D-technologies, all under one roof. It is where you will witness groundbreaking product announcements, experience hands-on exhibits, learn real-world additive manufacturing solutions from the industry’s most respected experts and network with thousands of industry peers”.

over 100 industry leaders take part in the conference “to bring you real-world solutions to advance your manufacturing processes”.

Wooster Bank Plans Belmont County Branch

In a legal notice published this past week, Main Street Bank, headquartered in Wooster, has filed papers with the Ohio Division of Financial Institutions, to establish a branch bank. The proposed bank will be located at 107 Plaza Drive, Suite A/BI, near Riesbeck’s on St. Clairsville’s westside.
