Western Belmont County excerpts from the Belmont County Sheriff’s Call Log this week features entries from April 8 and April 9.
Tuesday, April 8
12:15 pm – Pinewood Drive, Belmont. Crane truck in the road with no flaggers. Driver states he is unable to get to his home.
1:36 pm – Waterworks Road, Barnesville. Open line. Sounded like a young female on the phone. Negative contact on call back.
1:58 pm – Hunter Road, Bethesda. Cow in the roadway. Trying to get her back into the pasture and contact area farmers to see who she belongs to.
2:51 pm – Deputies called to Pilot Travel Center, Belmont-Morristown Road. Male and female are yelling at each other. Parties separated. Female denies anything happened. Male uncooperative. Female left scene while male is waiting on a ride.
Female is back at store and management wants her removed. She left before BCSO officer arrived. Officer called female and let her know by phone she is not to return to the business.
9:01 pm – traffic stop at 66377 Belmont-Morristown Road near Pilot Travel Center results in the arrest of a female and male on multiple drug charges and one “tampering with evidence” charge each. Deputies report individuals three “dope” on them.
11:48 pm – Pipe Creek Road, Jacobsburg. Open 911 line. Verbal domestic underway. Deputies responded. Report taken.
Wednesday, April 9
2:23 pm – Belmont-Morristown Road, Morristown call regarding fifteen year old and mental health evaluation. The subject voluntarily went to Barnesville Hospital with the squad.
8:25 pm – Pine Lake Trailer Court, National Road, Belmont. Female mental health evaluation. The subject is willing to go with the squad.
9:50 pm – North Johnson Road, Bethesda. Dispatcher advised male threatening harm to himself and his caretaker. Also threatening to burn down the residence. Deputies responded. Subject is willing to go to the hospital on his own. Barnesville EMS responded and transported to Barnesville Hospital.
11:43 pm – Virginia Street, Bethesda. Caller advises ex will not stop bothering her. Wants information on Civil Protective Order. Gave information. Also contacted ex. Advising if he continues, charges could be filed. Call record only at this time.
