James Roy Berry

James Roy Berry, 71, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital. He was born on August 10, 1953 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Wilfred Edison and Grace Mildred (Truax) Berry.

Jim was a graduate of Barnesville High School. He was retired from the Operating Engineers Local 18 and was owner/operator of Berry Grading and Excavating. He loved watching Westerns.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tom Reynard.

Jim is survived by his three siblings, Patricia Reynard, Roger (Beverly) Berry, and Sharon (Gary) Mellott; and nieces and nephews, Tim (Leah) Reynard, Annette (Darrel) Goff, Roger (Michelle) Berry, Jr., Rick (Reva) Milhoan, David Reynard, Louis Berry, and Shannon (Travis Fogle) Lippencott; and several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Honoring Jim’s wishes, cremation will take place with no additional services being held. Jim’s care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Streeet, Barnesville, Ohio.
