Jeffrey L. “Snuffy” Leasure, Sr. Obituary
Jeffrey L. “Snuffy” Leasure, Sr., age 56, of Lewisville, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at his home. He was born November 6, 1968, in Barnesville, son of Nina M. McCune Leasure of Lewisville and the late Bobby Leasure. Jeff was a 1988 graduate of Skyview High School, where he played basketball. Over the years, he worked on oil rigs, in construction, and on siloes. He enjoyed fishing, working on his truck, and traveling to Oak Island, North Carolina with his children. He was a fan of NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and the Dallas Cowboys. Jeff was known for being spunky and ornery.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a sister, Anita Stephens.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his children, Jeffrey L. (Jessica) Leasure, Jr., Kendall M. Leasure, and Haleigh N. Leasure, all of Atwater; 3 grandchildren, Jaxson, Eliana, and Adeline, plus one on the way; his siblings, Charles R. McCune of South Olive, Bobbi Y. Smith of Barnesville, Shelly L. (Ricky) Stephens of Woodsfield, Fred J. (Carol) Leasure of Carlisle, and Chrissy E. (Shawn) Thompson of Caldwell; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 1-3PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 3PM with Ken Perkins officiating.
