Jamie Lee Mansfield May 25, 1970 – May 7th, 2025 With heavy hearts, we announce that Jamie Lee Mansfield went home to be with the Lord at the age of 54 in Morgantown, WV on May 7th, 2025 surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Jamie was born in Hopedale, Ohio to James and Sharon Neal on May 25th, 1970. A loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, and cousin, Jamie devoted her life to caring for others as a veterinary technician and nurse. Jamie was well known for her love of animals, especially her dogs, and is known by her family as a strong and caring woman. Jamie is preceded in death by her son Joshua, Parents James and Sharon Neal, grandparents Joseph and Evelyn Applegarth, and grandparents Richard and Loraine Neal. She is survived by her husband Chris Mansfield, son Brody, daughters Morgan Matusek and Miranda Eckles, sister Jennifer Neal, and grandchildren Mia, Carter, Breonna, Reece, Jackson, and Blayne.
A celebration of Jamie’s life will be held on Saturday, May 17th from 2-5pm at Zion Retreat in Flushing, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Jamie’s husband at

In continuation of her lifelong commitment to helping others, Jamie was able to fulfill her wishes of becoming an organ donor, providing a final gift of life and healing. Jamie’s legacy of love, devotion, and faith will live on to guide and inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
