Paul Walter Taylor

Paul Walter Taylor, 78, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at his home. He was born March 10, 1947, in Barnesville, Ohio, a son of the late Charles Dale Taylor and Patricia Ann Cook Taylor.

Paul was a retired clerk for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was currently employed at Little Caesar’s Pizza as a prep cook. He was a 6th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. He was a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Hapkido. He was an International Referee, Certified International Instructor, and a Co-Founder of the Taylor Martial Arts Academy in St. Clairsville.  He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Teletype Installer for the United States Strategic Command in Fort Clayton, Panama. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Taylor.

He is survived by his sons, Nathan Taylor, of Ocala, Florida and Zac Taylor, of St. Clairsville, Ohio; grandson, Mason Taylor; friend, Linda Coen; sister, Deborah (Bob) Forster; and a nephew, Jason Ferguson.

As per his wishes, there will be no public services or visitation.
