Austin Named Belmont Career Center Head
ST. CLAIRSVILLE – The Belmont-Harrison Vocational School District Board of Education has selected Heather Austin as the new superintendent, effective August 2025.
Austin currently serves as Director of Career Tech Education at the career center. She will bring a wealth of experience and passion for career and technical education according to Board and will succeed Superintendent Richard Schoene, who announced his retirement on March 17.
“We are thrilled to elevate Heather Austin to superintendent at the BHVSD,” said Board President Mike Fador.
