This rare rear photo of Main at Olney Friends School was taken prior to the massive fire of March 31, 1910, that gutted the three-story structure. The building was erected in 1876 just east of Barnesville.

Later that year, the building was rebuilt as the two-story building that remains in use to the present time. Today, Main along with other buildings on the campus are on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Olney Friends School Historic District which is recognized for its historic significance and architectural features.
