Monday, June 16, 2025
9:17 am – caller requesting a welfare check on a person at West Captina Highway. Advised that it is out of corporation and to contact the Sheriff’s department. Contact number provided.
9:54 am – caller states someone has lost their wallet and wonders if it was turned into the station. Negative.
10:38 am – officer enroute to Wiley Avenue about a verbal argument. Officer spoke with individuals. No threats were made, verbal only.
12:18 pm – caller asked for permission to drive a golf cart from Morgantown Avenue to West Main Street. Caller indicates golf cart is not street legal. Advised he can’t drive on the streets until it is inspected and street legal.
3:00 pm – traffic stop at North Chestnut Street.
8:41 pm – caller from East South Street reports a dog tried to attack her dog through a gate and took off down the alley. The incident happened a few hours ago.

8:35 am – person flagged down officer and advised there are people riding 4-wheelers on his property and the roadway. Officer advised person to contact the Sheriff’s department, since it is out of the corporation.
10:11 am – officer out with squad regarding a medical issue at Barnesville Thrift Store.
10:27 am – vehicle lockout at East Main Street.
12:44 pm – male at station stating that a branch or tree is in the roadway on Mt. Olivett Road, just beyond J Mo’s. Street department notified.
12:57 pm – person at station who locked herself out of her house and needs help getting back in. Officer assisted the person.
1:08 pm – subjects at station regarding private property accident that happened Sunday.
6:57 pm – officer out with a male who was trying to get back in after a breakup with a girl. He met and has been staying with the girl.
9:01 pm – officer out assisting EMS at Family Dollar with fall down incident.
11:08 pm – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street.
Wednesday, June 18, 2025
6:19 am – traffic stop on South Gardner Street. Warning given.
6:26 am – alarm drop on West Church Street. Multiple alarms. Alarm cancelled because it was accidental.
11:38 am – subject at station talking with officers about landlord and tenant issues. Officers advised it is a civil process.
12:28 pm – 911 hang up on West Main Street. Negative contact on call back.
1:51 pm – person at station talking with an officer about a child’s welfare when the child is with his mother. Person completed a report.
5:26 pm – traffic stop on West South Street.
5:38 pm – alarm drop on West Main Street. Front entry door found open. Unable to contact a keyholder. No one is the general area on cameras. Door secure.
8:07 pm – traffic stop on Shamrock Drive.
9:17 pm – mother at station to talk asking officer to speak with her son about not wanting to wear a seat belt.
Thursday, June 19, 2025
8:09 am – caller from South Lincoln Avenue advises vehicle is blocking an alleyway. Upon officer’s arrival, the alleyway was not blocked.
8:26 am – caller from South Chestnut Street advised while she was dropping off her son at his dad’s house, they argued.
8:34 am – tree fell across northbound lane on 800 north by the ball field. State Patrol notified and call made to ODOT.
8:37 am – State Patrol called. Officer is enroute to State Route 800 for the tree in the highway.
9:16 am – caller wants permission to drop items off at the Thrift Store since they are not open. Advised we could not give permission.
4:08 pm – State Patrol called stating a caller reported a van was driving wreckless and slamming on brakes. Officer watched cameras and officer was unable to make contact.
4:11 pm – caller wants to know what airplanes fly out of our airport. Advised private aircraft only.
7:52 pm – caller reported a tree down on Johnson Ridge Road. Transferred to county.
Friday, June 20, 2025
9:11 am – Carl Street property maintenance call.
9:39 am – Harrison Street property maintenance call.
10:03 am – Officer on North Street regarding an unlicensed vehicle in yard. Owner will secure plates.
12:50 pm – officer out with an unoccupied semi-truck on South Gardner Street.
12:57 pm – officer out with same semi-truck on South Broadway Street.
1:38 pm – South Lincoln parking complaint.
2:00 pm – caller from Pine Lane in regarding a racoon in his backyard that appears to be sick or injured.
2:55 pm – tree down on Mill Street. Street department notified for handling.
3:43 pm – vehicle lockout on East Main Street.
5:37 pm – caller states there are donkeys running loose on Legget Avenue. Owner notified. They now are back inside fence.
6:20 pm – caller states there is a truck going all over the roadway on I-70. Transferred call to the State Patrol.
8:23 pm – traffic stop at square (Main and Chestnut).
8:41 pm – caller from Fair Street advises vehicle is broken down at the park. She needs jumper cables hooked up but is not sure how to do it. She is wondering if someone can assist her. Officer notified.
Saturday, June 21, 2025
12:02 am – traffic stop on North Broadway Street. Written warning given for traffic control devices.
8:44 am – caller reports hit and run at East Main Street. Person has video and is going to come to the station with it.
9:59 am – female at station wanting to speak with an officer about a verbal disagreement.
12:21 pm – person at station about the hit skip.
5:19 pm – caller from Walnut Street states that a car is blocking the sidewalk at North Arch Street. Also, states there is a car that is parked in front that has not been moved in two weeks. First vehicle is being moved, other car is waiting for a repair part to come in.
5:30 pm – caller wants a welfare check on an elderly female using a cane crossing the roadway at Save A Lot. Caller states the female looks confused and may be disoriented. Officer advised.
5:48 pm – caller requests call back from an officer.
11:14 pm – caller from Commodore Lane requesting to speak with an officer regarding a person threating her. Suspect is not currently present.
Sunday, June 22, 2025
3:33 am – caller from Commodore Lane states she is fighting with a person and requesting EMS. This is a verbal argument.
9:43 am – officer on foot searching for a pin that from a guy’s trailer in the area of South Chestnut Street.
6:10 pm – caller from Hilles Avenue advises vehicle was struck by another vehicle that drove off.
7:20 pm – caller states a loose dog in the roadway near the DQ. Officer called back reporting the owner of the dog was located and the dog is back home.
10:51 pm – traffic stop on North Street. Officer and K9 found positive indication. Will be searching vehicle.
