Western Belmont County excerpts from the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office Call Logs covering various dates from July 1 through July 9 are reported below.

July 1, 2025

9:44 am – Morristown Street, Flushing, caller state a male is yelling threats. Male is reportedly walking on the road to Holloway. Deputy attempted contact but subject not found.

1:46 pm – on Second Street, Bethesda, a vehicle with heavy damages has been parked more than 24 hours. The vehicle is off roadway. Deputies also notified Belmont and Bethesda departments.

3:09 pm – call about Chestnut Ridge Road, Barnesville. Deputies responded to an address on this road. Caller wants to check on son for possible overdose. Paraphernalia was found. Barnesville Police will take over.   

July 2, 2025

8:14 pm – Morris Lane, Barnesville, caller reports an injured fawn that may be caught in a fence. Fawn does seem to have a leg injury but is running around fine, deputies report.

July 4, 2025

2:24 am – Second Street, Bethesda caller reports a highly intoxicated male fell down a hillside. Squad called.

3:53 am – Deputies transported one female to Barnesville Hospital. Subject returned to jail following visit.

10:15 pm – Main Street, Jacobsburg, caller states neighbors are setting off fireworks in a fire pit with missiles going everywhere. Deputy noted the fireworks are being set off in a safe manner.

July 5, 2025

1:36 pm – Gobbler’s Knob, Barnesville, caller reports husband is causing issues at residence. Husband also called and said he wants a male removed from the residence. Deputies report this as a civil matter.

9:00 pm – Second Street, Glencoe, caller inquires about a Temporary Protective Order on a certain party. Welfare check reveals protected party is okay.

July 6, 2025

10:59 am – Heather Lane, Flushing, theft reported. The caller says they are the victim of a scam losing $350 in gift cards. Caller wants report filed.   

1:46 pm – deputies report to a Uniontown-Flushing Road address regarding a vehicle belonging to a certain party at the address. Deputies report that the owner of the business said it was okay if the vehicle was there a few more days.

9:19 pm – Bethesda caller states there is an active physical domestic between her neighbors in the backyard. Deputies spoke with both parties separately. Both said they were yelling and arguing but nothing was physical – no threats – no one felt unsafe.  One party decided to take a ride and some time to calm down before returning home.

9:41 pm – Mellott Road, Jacobsburg call. Static on the line, busy on callback. The number is for the resident’s father who has passed away.

July 7, 2025

10:59 am – Williamson Road, Wayne Township, theft reported at Century Mine Prep Plant. Deputies took report.  

July 8, 2025

10:44 am – Caller at a National Road, Morristown, youth facility, reports a fight. Deputies were dispatched.

 July 9, 2025

8:37 am – Bethesda caller reports a vehicle is parked on private property. Caller believes it may be owned by a relative. It belongs to the complainant’s brother. Advised this is a civil matter.

8:53 am – Hollway caller reports ongoing threats from neighbors. Parties were separated when deputies arrived. Caller wants the report on file for a Civil Protective Order.
