Ohio Hills Health Center Opens Clinic at Bellaire Schools

BELLAIRE – State and local officials joined members of the Ohio Hills Health Center and Bellaire Local Schools Friday to dedicate a new school-based health clinic in Bellaire.
Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff and Bellaire Schools Superintendent Derrick McAfee cut the ribbon for the new Ohio Hills Health Center-Bellaire School-Based Health Center.
“This is part of Ohio’s commitment to improving the health and educational outcomes for all students,” an Ohio Department of Health release noted.
Also on hand for the event were Ohio Senator Brian Chavez, Belmont County Commissioner Vince Gianangeli and Belmont County Community Improvement Corporation Executive Director Crystal Lorimor.
The office is the second school-based clinic for the community health provider. One opened earlier at the Belmont Career Center in St. Clairsville.
Other clinics are located in Barnesville, Freeport, Quaker City and Woodsfield. Barnesville and Freeport clinics also offer dental services.
