The Ohio Mushroom Society organized a mushroom foray at Dysart Woods along with Captina Conservancy on August 10. Many species were found as participants learned a lot about fungi and their relationship with the plants and animals around them.
The next educational program for Captina Conservancy is a Science Lab at 6 p.m. August 25 at the Main Street Barrel House. The program topic is Native Fishes.
