PC Plumly Townhomes Project Update

Progress continues on the townhomes project off North Chestnut Street since our original July 19 report.

Amy Lynn Cales-Ankrom, manager of the PC Plumly Townhomes located off North Chestnut Street in Barnesville, reported at that time that the first phase of renovation/construction at the housing development was complete and management was currently accepting applications for HUD Housing.  Call 740-619-0315 for details.

Since that time, work on a second unit is done, while work on the remaining three units of the 22-townhouse development continues.

This 1980s development joined the 1970s Barnesville Commons on South Lincoln Avenue and 1977s Barnesville Manor, a 52-unit senior apartment complex on North Street. Later, Russell’s Crossing was added in the 1990s, with Russell’s Place going up in 2006.

Cales-Ankrom noted that effective July 31 last year, the housing development’s name was changed from Plumly Townehomes to PC Plumly Townhomes.
