Beallsville Apartment Fire Injures Two
BEALLSVILLE – A fire early Friday evening at the Beallsville Vista Apartments at 62313 Crum Road, injured two, according to Somerton VFD spokesperson Jody Wilcox. The call came in at 5:48 p.m.
The Beallsville Department put out a call activating the area Tanker Taskforce. Several departments responded, including Somerton. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department also assisted.
Monroe County EMS and Somerton squads transported the injured to WVU Medicine/Barnesville Hospital.
The apartments are located near the northern corporation limit of Beallsville near the intersection of Crum Road and Belmont Avenue, State Route 145. The complex was constructed in the 1970s with federal assistance of the Farmers Home Administration.
