Monday, August 25, 2025

2:36 pm – E-Squad requesting an officer for traffic control.

2:37 pm – traffic control needed on West Main Street for buses due to road work.

4:50 pm – caller from Sycamore Street reporting that he was assaulted. Officer requested to have the EMS dispatched.

Tuesday, August 26, 2025

8:24 am – school staff called regarding a suspicious vehicle. Will keep an eye out for it but didn’t see it today.

12:25 pm – 911 called in to speak with an officer. Person on station speaking to an officer.

1:16 pm – person on station to speak to an officer.

1:42 pm – officer is in pursuit of a vehicle heading toward Baileys Mills. Advised the Monroe County Sheriff’s department and the Guernsey County Sheriff’s department of the vehicle.

5:08 pm – Noble County 911 regarding a call from a homeowner of a ditched vehicle on their property. Vehicle is the vehicle from previous situation.

7:16 pm – officer on Railroad Street regarding a traffic stop.

Wednesday, August 27, 2025

5:09 am – officer on South Chestnut Street regarding a traffic stop. Officer gave a warning.

2:21 pm – officer on Shamrock Drive regarding a traffic stop.

2:47 pm – officer on Shamrock Drive regarding an accident in front of Joe’s Tire. No injuries were reported to the officer.

4:05 pm – caller from Bethesda Street regarding her house being vandalized in the past couple of days. I advised her to come to the station to file a report.

5:52 pm – officer on Waterworks Road to follow up on an investigation.

7:10 pm – 911 received a call from a person on Pfeffer Road regarding a male outside with a can of gasoline. Unknown if he is going to torch the trailer and has an arsenal of weapons. Belmont County Sheriff officer is enroute.

Thursday, August 28, 2025

9:27 am – officer on North Chestnut Street regarding a traffic stop.

9:54 am – officer on Mulberry Street regarding a traffic stop.

10:00 am – 911 received a hang up call. 911 called and spoke to an employee and advised all is ok.

11:35 am – alarm off at the elementary school. Officer advised a couple of kids were messing around and all is okay.

2:03 pm – officer on County Road 122 regarding a traffic stop.

5:34 pm – male on station to review camera footage with an officer.

7:10 pm – officer at Memorial Park regarding a traffic stop. Officer gave a warning for expired registration.

7:25 pm – officer on Mt. Olivett Road with the Belmont County Sheriff officer. Male is in custody.

7:47 pm – report of possible gun shots in the area of Sycamore Street. Officer will be checking it out.

Friday, August 29, 2025

8:02 am – caller reported a suspicious man approached her within 10 feet of her vehicle. She stated the male didn’t say anything but stared at her.

9:42 am – caller wanting to talk to an officer to file a report regarding damages to her Bethesda Street property. I advised her to come to the station and the officer can see the property damage.

3:00 pm – parties on station for a private property crash in Dairy Queen lot.

5:37 pm – investigate complaint regarding a psych evaluation on Sycamore Street.

9:42 pm – caller from Stadium Drive parking lot regarding individuals drinking in the parking lot. Numerous individuals drinking and cans laying on the ground. Caller afraid the individuals will be leaving intoxicated.

10:51 pm – caller from South Chestnut Street regarding two people in the roadway or near the roadway walking towards Crestview Cemetery pushing someone in a wheelchair. Caller stated everyone is wearing black clothing. Officer made contact and was advised by the individuals they wanted to look at the stars. Officer told them to stay out of the road and to keep safe.

Saturday, August 30, 2025

12:40 am – investigate complaint East Main Street.

12:40 am – officer on East Main Street regarding a traffic stop. Male was detained and refused to be tested. Officer searched the vehicle and requested Hissom’s towing to tow the vehicle. Officer stated no hold on the vehicle.

7:57 am – alarm drop on West Church Street. Motion and door alarm. Cancelled.

9:53 am – caller needing a vehicle unlocked. I advised that we can’t unlock it right now and to call Hissom’s towing.

10:04 am – accident hit skip on East Main Street.

11:17 am – female caller regarding her neighbor beeping their horn all hours of the night.

 3:13 pm – officer on East Main Street regarding a traffic stop.

3:47 pm – female on station in regards to her purse is locked in Bless Your Heart.

5:07 pm – E-Squad enroute to Sycamore Street regarding a psych evaluation.

6:38 pm – caller from Sandy Ridge Road regarding goats in his yard. He called the Belmont County Sheriff’s department but they have not arrived yet. I advised him he needs to call the Sheriff’s department again because calls outside the corporation limit must go through the Sheriff’s department. We can only go if the Sheriff’s department requested our assistance.

7:33 pm – call from the Barnesville Emergency Room regarding a patient that is a victim of an assault. I was advised that the assault took place outside of the corporation, so I contacted the Belmont County Sheriff’s department.

8:51 pm – officer assisting the Belmont County Sheriff officer regarding the assault on Pfeffer Road.

9:25 pm – call regarding a baby deer struck in the roadway near the Industrial Park on Route 800 north. No Barnesville Police Officer available and I transferred the call to the Ohio State Patrol.

9:28 pm – Ohio State Patrol called regarding the baby deer, if we have an officer available for the deer call. I advised them we didn’t have anyone available.

11:27 pm – caller reporting a vehicle all over the roadway near Emerald Pointe. Officer made contact with the vehicle and didn’t see any issues with the driver’s driving.

Sunday, August 31, 2025

12:09 am – officer on East Main Street regarding a traffic stop. Officer gave a warning.

10:42 am – person called regarding her employee stole her wedding ring and sold it. Person will come to the station to speak to an officer.

4:11 pm – caller asking if we do vehicle lockouts. I advised the officer on duty currently doesn’t have the tools to perform the task. I advised him to contact a towing company.

10:13 pm – caller from Pike Street regarding a waterline break.

10:39 pm – caller from East Pike Street regarding the waterline break.
