‘Old Glory’ Collection

BELMONT – American Legion Post #312 teamed up with the Belmont County C-CAP program this week removing American Flags from veterans’ graves at Morristown and Belmont area cemeteries.
Flags are placed on graves before Memorial Day and removed at the end of summer each year.
For those unfamiliar with the local Juvenile Court program, it was developed in June of 1995 under Judge John J. Malik. C-CAP stands for Concentrated Conduct Adjustment Program.
According to the court’s website, “over the years, C-CAP has helped countless youths. The C-CAP program provides intensive supervision and an opportunity for youth and probation officers to work together. Youth report two Wednesdays per month during the school year and four days a week during summer break. Team building exercises, academic work, life skills, community service, and counseling are required by youth throughout this program”.
Photos are posted the Post’s Facebook Page.
