Corey B. Hayes

Corey Hayes, 42 years old, of Belmont, Ohio, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, at home.

He was born October 28, 1982, a loving son of Randy and Tina Jeffers Hayes.

Corey is survived by his dad and mom; a brother, Caleb Hayes; his grandmother, Nancy Hayes Hudson; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Corey loved being with people, going to the mall and visiting family. He also loved the Special Olympics and enjoyed listening to all types of music and watching a wide variety of movies and television shows, especially the Dukes of Hazzard, Walker Texas Ranger and his Shawn movies. 

Corey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Ruth Jeffers, and Larry Hayes.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 3p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where visitation will again be held on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m., with Brad Schrum officiating. The burial will follow in Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio.
