9:41 am – officer on Cherry Street/North Arch Street regarding a vehicle parked at the stop sign. Officer advised the owner to move the vehicle.
1:00 pm – caller reports a road rage incident at the bottom of State Route 800 coming into town. Both parties were yelling at each other.
2:37 pm – officer on East Walnut Street for a traffic stop.
4:17 pm – male on station about a receipt that was thrown out a window and landed in his yard.
4:57 pm – officer on East Main Street at Riesbeck’s parking lot for a traffic stop.
6:00 pm – officer on East Main Street for a disabled vehicle at Wesbanco. Officer checking to see if any assistance is needed.
8:33 pm – officer on Gobblers Knob for a traffic stop.

10:36 am – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop at McDonalds.
4:31 pm – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop.
5:18 pm – officer on West Main Street for a traffic stop.
6:20 pm – caller from South Broadway Street regarding a 911 call. Female states her grandson accidently called 911.
6:22 pm – officer on North Chestnut Street for a traffic stop.
6:44 pm – officer on Bishop Avenue for a traffic stop.
6:54 pm – caller with a dead battery at Save A lot’s parking lot seeking a ride from the police. Dispatcher advised the police are not a taxi service.
11:36 pm – caller states beyond Dairy Queen on Henderson Street a male and female are outside yelling at each other. Officer out on East Main Street with subjects.
Wednesday, September 3, 2025
5:09 am – officer on East Main Street regarding a deer that has been dispatched.
6:50 am – caller from Highland Avenue regarding a possible rabid animal on the back porch. Officer couldn’t locate the animal.
7:40 am – accident on North Arch Street with two vehicles. No injuries reported.
2:28 pm – 911 called in regard to a call received from Sycamore Street that she has a combative patient. E-Squad is enroute.
6:50 pm – officer on North Street in regard to a wellness check.
Thursday, September 4, 2025
12:53 am – person on station that he has someone that feels threatened.
11:06 am – caller advised a truck was going left of center several times from the town square and is pulling into Riesbeck’s parking lot.
11:38 am – emergency run on Pine Lane regarding a cardiac arrest.
Friday, September 5, 2025
5:48 am – caller from Bond Avenue reports a semi pulled onto her property and is stuck. When the officer arrived, the semi was no longer there.
2:30 pm – officer on Shamrock Drive for a traffic stop.
2:46 pm – officer on North Broadway Street for a traffic stop. Officer requesting another officer for assistance.
2:51 pm – officer on West Church Street for a traffic stop.
3:53 pm – officer on East Church Street for a traffic stop.
4:04 pm – caller from East Main Street reports a dog in a vehicle and windows are rolled up and vehicle is shut off. A dog and cat are observed to be panting badly. Officer contacted the owner.
4:09 pm – call in regard to a truck broke down on North State 800 near the Dickinson Cattle property. Caller transferred to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
4:11 pm – call in regard to a truck hauling a big building struck a phone line on Route 147 heading into Barnesville. Call transferred to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
4:20 pm – officer on East Main Street in regard to truck that struck a traffic light.
4:35 pm – person on station talking to an officer.
4:43 pm – officer on East Main Street in regard to serving paperwork.
5:43 pm – officer on East Main Street in regard to serving paperwork again.
6:21 pm – officer on East Church Street for a traffic stop.
7:02 pm – employee from the elementary school called about accidently setting off the alarm and doesn’t know how to reset it. Phone number provided for the contact person.
9:27 pm – caller from West Church Street in regard to vehicles that are parking on the street where no parking is permitted. Officer checked out the situation and observed that all the vehicles are legally parked.
10:46 pm – vehicle reported over an embankment on Mt. Olivett Road. Ohio State Highway Patrol notified. E-Squad in enroute.
Saturday, September 6, 2025
8:30 am – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop.
9:34 am – alarm drop on West Church Street. Person requested to know who set it off. It was determined who set if off.
12:35 pm – caller from Bethesda Street reporting that when she left the house earlier, the garage door was closed. When caller returned the garage door was open. Officer didn’t find anyone in the garage.
1:45 pm – officer on East Main Street attempting to serve paperwork. One paper served.
4:39 pm – caller reports a truck driving erratic is coming into town from the north. Nothing found that matched that description.
Sunday, September 7, 2025
9:31 am – vehicle is disabled on East Church Street beside Woodsfield Saving Bank. Officer placed cones around the vehicle because it is partially in the street.
10:58 am – officer on East Main Street for a traffic stop.
11:03 am – caller requesting a welfare check on animals at Hunts Avenue. Caller states that there was a puppy on the porch all day yesterday and several ducks without water. Officer advised.
12:46 pm – officer on South Chestnut Street for a traffic stop.
12:50 pm – person on station regarding an incident that happened at the high school Friday.
4:26 pm – caller reports two cows are out about ¼ mile past J Mo’s on Mt. Olivett Road. Officer notified who contacted the owner and he got the cows off the roadway.
5:12 pm – alarm drop on West Church Street. Alarm company cancelled the alert.
6:06 pm – truck reportedly is blocking North Street while loading a car on the trailer. Roadway is clear.
7:22 pm – officer on Bond Avenue regarding a traffic stop. Officer gave warning for expired registration.
10:08 pm – caller states a car is tailgating him on Route 800. Officer notified who had negative contact with the vehicle in question.
