Western Belmont County excerpts from the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office Call Logs covering various dates from September 14 through September 17 are reported below.

September 14, 2025

5:58 pm — Bel-Mor gas station, Morristown. A deputy spoke to a caller regarding a vehicle that caught on fire around 4 pm. The caller wanted the incident on record.

6:54 pm — BarkCamp Park Rd, Belmont. Deputies responded to assist the Ohio State Patrol with a possible domestic incident. A couple was arguing. The parties were separated. Both parties advised that it was just a heated argument, and no threats were made.

September 15, 2025

9:18 am — Maple Ave, Bethesda. The caller reported that her mailbox had been stolen. A deputy responded. The caller believed that the neighbor inadvertently took the mailbox. The caller was going to speak with the neighbor.

1:02 pm — Railroad St, Bethesda. A deputy contacted the caller about a complaint of theft from his son. The deputy advised getting a civil protective order.

1:50 pm — Harrison St, Warren Township. The deputy went to the address to create a damage report for a vehicle. The cause of the damage is unknown. The caller stated the damage occurred while he had possession of the truck.

1:50 pm — Business, National Road, Belmont. An alarm dropped on the rear door. A deputy responded. All was secure. The owner showed up on the scene.

September 16, 2025

10:18 am — Virginia St, Bethesda. The caller reported that her son was being bullied at school. The caller added that the situation had been handled at the school and just wanted it on file at the Sheriff’s office.

10:46 am — New Castle Rd, Wayne Township. There was an open line 911 call from possibly a female. A deputy responded. The line was open for a while until a male picked up, stating that he was okay. He was calling his son. The deputy still responded to confirm.

September 17, 2025

11:53 am — Tacoma Rd, Warren Township. The deputy went to a residence to contact a deceased person’s wife. No contact was made. It appeared that no one was home. Knox County was updated.

5:54 pm — Belmont Rd, Bethesda. A deputy was dispatched to the address after EMS requested the coroner.

7:55 pm — Goshen Township. Deputies attempted to serve a felony warrant. No one answered the front door. The basement door and back door were wide open without contact. The basement was cleared and the doors were secured as best as possible with locks.
