‘Going, Going, Gone’ Talk Set at Heritage Museum

Step back in time with us at the Belmont County Heritage Museum on October 2 at 6 p.m.
Belmont County historian Marie Bundy will share stories from her brand-new book, Going, Going, Gone—a fascinating look at the forgotten villages that once dotted the countryside around Barnesville. Many of these places have vanished completely, but their tales live on through Marie’s research.
Covering 16 townships across Belmont, Guernsey, Monroe, and Noble counties, the book uncovers the history, memories, and colorful characters of these lost communities.
“Don’t miss this chance to hear history come alive from one of our area’s most engaging storytellers,” the museum press release states.
